No doubt that in the democratic and western world, the top nation in Military Parades are the Italians. They love a good parade and there's a lot of them recorded in video, since the early years to the actuality, with the importance of Mussolini era and first NATO years ( lucky is that in Romans era there was no cameras because if so, the movies were millions..lol). Anyway, we are talking about people that love this type of things, not by the armed and belic stuff but specially by the show and party side. The italians are very proud of their parades and they love to do them in any ocasion, since it is a way to celebrate something that is something like a secular tradition. Sometimes they exaggerate but we are talking about a country that is famous by their parades (more fame have only nations like Russia, China or North Korea), and that celebrades most of the times with a big or at least a medium parade. And they are different from the others, since italians are the true masters in the uniform and preparation of the show on the streets to the minimum detail. Also Italian material are quite interesting and even so beutiful, since the Folgore Division of WWII times to the Centaur wheels tank, passing by the AMX or the Ariete Mbt. And is a tradition to show military power to the world and to the natives. In times were the extremists are getting strong in Europe and also in Italy, a nation with also a huge problem with migrants and were military, coast guard and policial forces are very important especially to this subject, a good parade looks a great idea (except in covid 19 times, of course).
